We meet so many people in our lifetime, some linger in our memories and some just fade away. C is back in my life again after all the past couple of  years. We had kept in touch minimally after I had switched jobs but after months of ignoring I had to finally accept his friends request on Facebook. The word friend has such a shallow meaning on Facebook and when used as a verb "Friend me" is extremely annoying.

C's message simply stated " So have you not found time to click the button yet?. I have finally found love Red". I wished him the best and accepted his request finally. His next message asked me out for a drink for old times sake. I gently pointed out that I have been sick for the past few months and drinking was certainely out of the question for me. Lunch? was his quick reply.  Rain-check!! was my response back.

Picking up where we left off as friends is not easy. But I think with time we may get to that point sometime soon. His blonde hair is brown now :D After a failed marriage and multiple relationships I truly think he deserves his shot at love. 


Only some actually find love and manage to hang on it. The others either are looking in wrong places or are blindsided by the everyday rigmarole that fail to recognize it while passing by it everyday.
